Bon Voyage (Poem)

Lying, enjoying the orange and the gold.

Sand in our clothes, sand on our toes.

Wrapped warmly to fight the ocean breeze.

Cuddling close, gives guilt ease.

You stare at my face with fixed adoration.

Not a blink or a slip in your avid concentration.

Gradually, salty brine creeps high.

Tide and time for our goodbye.

A gentle kiss, a feathery touch.

Never, could I sit and watch.

The ocean craddles you into the sea.

Pleased and relieved at the disposal of your body.
