Where the Sun Never Shines (Poem)

Will they find your words and know how fiercely I was loved?

Will they read them aloud and go quiet with thought?

Every sweet verse of your devotion released again into the world.

Or will they laugh at the fervor of my appreciation after seeing what few can say they saw?

All I know is I’ll be gone if and when it comes, because I’ve tattooed every vowel and consonant across my butt in the name of love.
