I’m dressed to impress; my tail in impeccable shape.
Ears perked to attention, I calmly wait and offer my temptation.
Aromatic aged swiss seems to draw them in quickest.
Braver and braver, their fear is forgotten while they munch and creep closer.
Soon I can touch silky fur and watch as they nibble; delicate hands with a cheesy grip.
Near enough to see my reflection in their beady button eyes.
In my hand.. then squeeze.
Squirming, squeeking, smothering.
Quiet and limp.
Another in the pot.
The next scrambles into place, searching for crumbs and…
More dinner for me.

Art is mine.๐ญ

I would think that rat soup probably tastes a little gamey compared to mouse soup. Better add some spice!
Oh wait. You mean… you like the poem… i see i see…

Never thought a poem about a mousetrap could be morbid. You, madame, proved otherwise.
The artwork is glorious๐

You do, don’t you? Well that’s something we have in common. I have recently taken up the unusual hobby of reading about interesting murder cases due to that very reason.

Do you like them fiction or non?
I enjoy writing morbid things as that’s just the strange tilt of my mind, but when I read I usually read romance/smut. I guess just because I’m a perv. Lol

As they say, truth is sometimes stranger than fiction. So I’m into interesting real-life murder cases nowadays.
Well that’s a strange combination. You’re truly one of a kind.

I feel too much empathy for the real murders so I shy away from those. I do agree with you though, the human race’s ability to do evil is so vast and varied it amazes me.
And thank you, I like being called a one of a kind, strange combination. โบ๐๐ผ

I see. Frankly, I don’t [another example that goes to show I might be a sociopath after all {but a high-functioning one at that (if you get the reference)}]
And you’re most welcome๐

I’ve heard a lot of praise for Dexter’s lab and plan to watch it sometime (especially as I’m a science geek). But presently I was referring to one of my most favourite shows of all time, Sherlock.

Ahhh.. ok I was actually refering to the serial killer who only kills serial killers, Dexter. Lol!
Science geeks are awesome btw๐๐๐ผ
